    Rossen Rashev – Roshpaka was born in 1970. In Vratsa, Bulgaria. He graduated from the Art School “Iliya Petrov” Sofia in 1989. He has numerous solo exhibitions, some of which: 1994 – Museum of Naive Art, Yagodina, Serbia; 1995 – Vitosha Gallery, Sofia; 2000 – Ethnographic Museum, Belgrade, Serbia; 2001 – Exhibition Hall at the Bulgarian Cultural Institute, Bratislava; 2005 – Paris Gallery, Sofia; 2009 – Gallery “1908”, Sofia; 2013 – 1908 Gallery, Rakursi Gallery, Sofia; 2017 – Nuance Gallery, Sofia. He is the winner of the International Foundation “St . St. Cyril and Methodius”; The Grand Prize from the XI Biennial for Naive Art of the Museum of Naive and Marginal Art, Yagodina, Serbia; The Grand Prize of the Union of Bulgarian Artists for Painting, National Art Exhibition “Earth of Botev”, Vratsa, and many others. The works of Rosen Rashev-Roshpakka are owned by Ivan Funev Art Gallery, Vratsa, Museum of Naive and Marginal Art, Yagodina, Serbia, Museum of Insect Art, Bratislava, Slovakia, Museum of Naive Art, Humenné, Slovakia. Around 50 of his works are located in the private collection and museum of the Belgian collector Hugo Wutten, as well as in private collections in Bulgaria, Serbia, Germany, France, Israel, USA, Italy, Spain , Japan and Greece.
