From May 14 to May 28, the Nuance Gallery space is the place for the first time in a joint exhibition by two authors Albena Mihailova and Kamen Tanev. They are a family, defining their creative coexistence as a tango – “a social dance with virtually unlimited possibilities for improvisation.” In the gallery, she presents her paintings, he sculptures her. Kamen Tanev creates sculptures, which he realizes in various materials and scales. Sometimes they are organic structures that have their own laws of gravity, other times curious objects placed in different environments. Albena Mihailova paints freely placed bio-geometric compositions, unrestricted by the picture frame, emphasizing the delicacy and tenderness of the detail and the power of the saturated and intense tone.
