From 27.02 to 11.03.2018, the Nuance Gallery is pleased to present Christina Bobokova’s curatorial project: OS: EVA.

The operating system is a major driving force of the overall computer system software that manages and coordinates the resources and activities of hardware and software. The OS distributes tasks in time, plans and calculates the efficiency of using the capabilities of the system, it is an intermediary and a contractor. So modern woman is a major driving force in certain aspects of life, she plays the role of distributor, chief or subordinate performer in activities of all kinds. Separately, the woman as an individual is also driven by very different codes. Its internal operating system has a much finer set-up and a motorcycle, often inexplicable, characterized by emotional solutions, sensual expressions and responses, deep intuitiveness and bright expression, gentle and flattering. Another time is categorical and sharp, angry and irrepressible in her actions. It is an integral part of the overall mechanism of today’s society and the family, side by side with the man, his opponent, but also support.
The exhibition includes new works by Nadezhda Rosava-Greene (contemporary medal), Emanuela Kovac (graphics) and Nina Lysovska (sculpture – metal and glass) specially designed for the project OS: EVA. All three authors work in the field of contemporary art, established in the field and the genre they work in, they are interested in various social and socially important topics as they seek answers to more intimate and personal, general or philosophical questions. They use different expression techniques, making their general presentation complementary and giving a good idea of the exceptional possibilities of contemporary female artist. The work of all three ladies impresses with the difficulty and the extreme precision of workmanship, the attention to detail, the surfaces, the delicacy and the expressiveness in iconography and the representation of images. ”
